Are you a person who understands the value of work? Are you someone who cares about kids and their future? Are you currently employed in a job where you supervise employees? If so, then you may want to consider being at Job Readiness Mentor for students at Springfield High School.

Join us as we kick off this new initiative to help students become productive, working citizens. Join us once a week from 900AM to 930 AM at the high school. Working with a teacher, you would lead discussions on job skills, resume writing, job interview techniques, strategies for finding part time employment, the value of volunteer work, positive work behaviors and attitudes, etc. All of these topics are outlined for you in a curriculum. However, there will be plenty of times when the students will take the lead and turn to you for your first hand knowledge about the world or work. And we will welcome your expertise.

Our students are hungry for positive role models.

It would be great to count on you.
