Over the last 20 years I have been compiling experiences which encompass sales, customer service, marketing, media placement and production. For the past six years I have owned Solstice Media, a full service marketing and advertising agency in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Focusing on the initiatives of small businesses, I have conducted seminars on effective marketing on a budget, video podcasting, direct mail design and writing copy. I have helped hundreds of small business owners with their marketing challenges.

A huge part of my personal marketing success may be credited to my affiliation with the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce. As a member I saw the value of networking right away and joined the Small Business Committee. I was later elected to the position of Vice Chairman and next the Chairman of that committee. During my tenure I grew the committee to over forty members and was instrumental in developing new and exciting educational seminars. I was also part of the team who helped bring the Small Business Development Center to Widener University of which I am an Alumni.

I am a three time recipient of the Chamber’s Key Volunteer Award, a one time recipient of the Volunteer of the Year Award and the 2008 Business Leader of Distinction Award winner. Recently I have helped the Chamber develop Delco Chamber TV, an online communications effort which is unlike anything else offered by a local chamber. I also volunteer one day a month videotaping new Chamber members and producing a free podcast to help jump-start their businesses.

Additional affiliations include the Delaware Valley Professionals Network, (DVPN.biz) a networking group of twenty-six local business which I helped create and am currently the moderator. I am also President of Tommy’s Gifts for Kids, a charity which gives toys to children at A.I.duPont Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. This Charity was inspired by my Son, Tommy, who is a Leukemia survivor and thought that it would be a good thing if every time a child received chemotherapy, he or she would receive a toy. (tommysgiftsforkids.com). I am a Hospitality Commissioner for ST. George’s Episcopal Church and also a member of the Discernment Committee for Saint George’s. Finally and most importantly, I am Husband to Julia and Father to Tommy and Joey.

The experiences I have gathered in my life have prepared me to take my skills to the next level. I wish to once again be part of a team. The company can be large or small, but it must be focused, driven and solid financially. I am looking for a team that will benefit from my media placement, copy writing and production experience.
